Golden berries are closely related to the tomatillo. It is a brightly colored, orange fruit that is also known as Inca berries (especially in Peru! We have many names for goldenberries.) They grow in warmer regions of South America and have both a sweet and tart taste.
They almost look like raisins but in a gold color. Consider them a raisin upgrade. Way more health benefits and such a unique taste.
They make a wonderful snack and are so fun to put over yogurt and smoothie bowls. They can even be worked into culinary dishes and baking.
Golden Berries have an incredibly wide array of vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial phytochemicals. Some of those include polyphenols, antioxidants, beta-carotene, Vitamin C, and much more. These berries are tiny, but are packed with nourishment.
Regular consumption of golden berries may help with a healthy immune response system, supporting skin, supporting the heart, and supporting the body in scavenging for free radicals (due to its high antioxidant content.) Golden Berries are a treat that are great for the body and mind! Enjoy.
